チャネルプランナー・アロケーター/ Channel Planner & Allocator

A leading global footwear and apparel company is looking for a Channel Planner & Allocator. The selected candidate will drive merchandise planning and allocation strategies, using data and forecasting to optimise inventory and commercial performance. This is a hybrid role.

Responsibilities:

• Identify and execute process improvements to enhance efficiency and commercial performance
• Collaborate with inventory and commercial teams to develop in-season inventory strategies
• Analyse SKU-level data and recommend actions to optimise multi-channel inventory and sales
• Manage system settings for markdowns and promotions
• Analyse store and cluster performance to support merchandise planning
• Own pre-season financial plans, open-to-buy, flow planning and in-season forecasting
• Develop rolling forecasts based on sales, markdown and sell-through assumptions
• Build seasonal product flow plans with Merchandising and Buying teams
• Review store plans and provide insights to marketplace teams during planning cycles
• Identify weekly forecast risks and opportunities and recommend corrective actions
• Monitor sales trends and forecast ending inventory to address potential risks and opportunities
• Analyse business performance and drive actions to achieve key performance metrics

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above
• 3-5 years of relevant professional experience
• Subject expert in mathematic, business, statistical analysis/apparel
• Ability and willingness to travel
• Fluent level Japanese and English
