サプライチェーンマネージャー/ Supply Chain Manager

A global confectionery company is looking for a Supply Chain Manager. The selected candidate will oversee co-packing operations, manage distributor and logistics partnerships, drive supply chain improvement initiatives, and ensure efficient, cost-effective, and high-quality operations across Japan. This is a hybrid setup role.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee the external co-packing partner in Japan, ensuring smooth operational execution, effective communication, and high data accuracy across supply chain processes
• Serve as the primary operational interface for end-to-end co-packing activities, ensuring seamless product flow and cross-functional alignment
• Act as the primary supply chain contact for the distributor in Japan, fostering strong partnerships and driving continuous performance improvements
• Coordinate with the Global Logistics Team to align local operations with regional and global supply chain strategies
• Support, coordinate, and progressively take ownership of supply chain improvement and transformation projects
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimise supply chain processes, enhance service quality, and improve operational efficiency
• Partner with the Quality Manager to improve quality management processes and support the harmonisation and standardisation of quality practices across Japan and APAC
• Support regional supply chain initiatives across APAC, with a focus on implementing and optimising co-packing operations in Japan

Requirements:

• Diploma or above in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
• More than 5 years of experience in supply chain management or logistics
• Experience in the FMCG or confectionery industry within a multinational corporate environment
• Strong understanding of supply chain operations in the Japanese market and international business environments
• Experience managing external co-packing partners and operational performance
• Experience driving process improvements and operational change initiatives
• Fluent level Japanese and English
