ソーシングスペシャリスト/ Sourcing Specialist

A global technology company is looking for a Sourcing Specialist. The selected candidate will manage supplier sourcing activities, support procurement projects, negotiate commercial terms, and help secure quality, cost, and delivery targets.

Responsibilities:

• Implement sourcing plans to meet quality, cost, and delivery targets
• Document project actions, timelines, and sourcing progress
• Select qualified suppliers from approved shortlists for assigned categories
• Lead RFI, RFQ, RFP, and bidding processes to maximise value and minimise risk
• Evaluate suppliers through reviews, audits, and site visits with quality teams
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with suppliers in coordination with internal stakeholders

Requirements:

• 5-10 years of sourcing/procurement experience (electrical or electronic components is ideal)
• Experience working with domestic and overseas electronics manufacturer/ distributor and brokers
• Background in negotiation, cost management, and supplier development
• Knowledge of electrical components, supply markets, and technical specifications
• Proficient in procurement systems, MS Excel/Power BI, and ERP tools
• Business level written and verbal Japanese and English
