サプライチェーンマネージャー/ Supply Chain Manager

A global food and consumer goods company is looking for a Supply Chain Manager. The selected candidate will lead end-to-end supply chain operations, drive operational excellence, manage supplier relationships, oversee budgets, and develop a high-performing team while supporting business growth through strategic supply chain leadership. This is a hybrid setup role.

Responsibilities:

• Lead, coach and develop a high-performing Supply Chain team
• Drive organisation through mentoring, succession planning and performance management
• Contribute to business strategy and foster a high-performance workplace culture as a member of the Japan Leadership Team
• Lead continuous improvement to enhance service, productivity and cost performance
• Utilise data and performance metrics to identify improvement opportunities and support decision-making
• Lead end-to-end supply chain operations including inventory management, logistics, imports and customer fulfilment
• Manage inventory levels while balancing customer service, working capital and cost goals
• Identify and mitigate supply chain risks to ensure supply continuity
• Lead contract negotiations and monitor supplier performance against KPIs and SLAs
• Develop and manage the SC operating budget while monitoring financial performance
• Support customer growth, market expansion and supply chain innovation initiatives
• Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements and international trade obligations

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Commerce or a related discipline
• More than 5 years of experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, International Trade or related disciplines
• Demonstrated people leadership and management experience
• Experience managing supplier and logistics contracts
• Experience managing budgets and delivering financial outcomes
• Experience operating within complex international supply chains

Preferred requirements:

• Experience supporting the Japan market or broader Asia-Pacific region
• Experience within FMCG, food manufacturing, consumer goods or international distribution environments
• Possess a valid APICS, CSCP, CPIM, Lean or Six Sigma certification
• Bilingual level Japanese and English
