SCMディレクター/ SCM Director

An international golf equipment company is looking for an SCM Director. The selected candidate will lead demand planning, inventory and supply planning, SCM operations, cross-functional coordination, and data analysis to support efficient supply chain performance.

Responsibilities:

• Lead monthly demand forecasting and forecasting review processes
• Analyse sales trends, seasonality, promotions, and market risks to improve forecast accuracy
• Collaborate with Sales and Management teams to align business assumptions and forecast outlooks
• Manage forecast adjustments based on sell-through performance, inventory risks, and business strategy
• Monitor forecast accuracy and identify root causes of variances
• Manage inventory health, including excess inventory, slow-moving inventory, and stock shortage risks
• Develop inventory optimisation and safety stock strategies
• Coordinate supply plans with production and procurement teams
• Review open orders, inbound schedules, and supply constraints to support stable operations
• Support allocation planning and supply prioritisation during shortage situations
• Lead overall SCM operational activities for the Japan business
• Manage PO/RF preparation and purchasing coordination processes
• Collaborate with logistics and warehouse teams to improve operational efficiency
• Monitor KPI performance, including fill rate, inventory coverage, backlog, and service level
• Identify operational risks and drive corrective actions
• Lead and support local SCM team operations
• Coordinate communication between Japan and global teams
• Facilitate cross-functional meetings related to forecasting, supply, and inventory
• Support process standardisation and continuous improvement initiatives
• Provide guidance and operational direction to SCM team members
• Analyse large datasets using Excel and reporting tools
• Prepare SCM reports and management presentations

Requirements:

• More than 5 years of experience in Demand Planning, Supply Chain Management, or related functions
• Strong understanding of forecasting, inventory management, and supply planning processes
• Ability to multitask and prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Strong market analysis skills
• Professional level Japanese; business level English or Korean
