QA担当官/ Quality Assurance Officer

An international food services company is seeking a Quality Assurance Officer. The successful candidate will monitor food safety programmes, conduct inspections and testing, support audits, and drive hygiene and food safety improvements. This is a hybrid setup role.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain the food safety management system aligned with HACCP, ISO 22000, regulatory requirements and customer requirements
• Conduct routine inspections of production areas, equipment, employee hygiene and sanitation practices
• Conduct hygiene checks, including ATP swabs, surface monitoring and environmental sampling
• Conduct microbiological test sampling and equipment calibration
• Handle customer complaints, conduct root cause analysis and follow up on corrective action plans
• Support external audits through documentation and hygiene checks
• Analyse pest-sighting trends and implement action plans to improve pest control performance
• Update hygiene and food safety training materials and provide staff training
• Conduct supplier audits and internal cleaning audits
• Maintain food safety records and documentation
• Implement hygiene improvement projects
• Provide nutrition and allergen support to airlines
• Ensure HALAL procedures are followed in respective units

Requirements:

• Diploma or above in Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry, Nutrition, or a related field
• Minimum entry-level experience in the food industry
• Experience implementing HACCP / ISO 22000
• Good level of MS Office Suite
• Basic knowledge of quality auditing and inspection methods
• Proficient in English and Japanese

Preferred requirements:

• Basic knowledge of statistics and mathematical concepts, including process capability
• Project management skills
• Basic Lean and Six Sigma knowledge and understanding of continuous improvement
• Possess a valid HACCP ISO 22000 certification

• Multilingual skills
