品質管理オフィサー/ Quality Control Officer

A technology company is looking for a Quality Control Officer. The successful candidate will oversee quality control and quality assurance activities, ensure food safety and regulatory compliance, drive continuous improvement, and help establish robust quality management systems for a growing processing plant. This is a hybrid setup role.

Responsibilities:

• Manage quality control activities throughout the manufacturing process
• Conduct microbiological testing and analyse inspection results
• Identify quality issues and implement corrective actions
• Manage hygiene control, including cleaning and sanitation verification and environmental monitoring
• Perform raw material inspections and final product quality checks
• Manage and calibrate inspection equipment
• Develop and maintain quality management systems based on HACCP, SSOP, GMP and other food safety standards
• Create standard operating procedures and deliver training to production teams
• Respond to customer and government audits
• Conduct internal quality audits
• Investigate customer complaints and implement corrective and preventive actions
• Maintain quality documentation and records
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, including the Food Sanitation Act
• Promote quality improvement initiatives with the manufacturing team
• Help build a strong quality culture across the organisation

Requirements:

• Experience in quality control within a food processing environment
• Hands-on experience conducting microbiological testing
• Strong understanding of food safety and quality management
• Experience creating and implementing HACCP plans, SSOP and SOPs
• Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to food safety and quality
• Professional level Japanese and English

Preferred requirements:

• Experience managing a quality control team or department
• Experience with FSSC 22000, ISO 22000 or JFS food safety certifications
• Possess a valid Food Hygiene Manager qualification or related certification
