コンティニュアスインプルーブメントスペシャリスト/ Continuous Improvement Specialist
A global technology company specialising in collectible authentication and value-added services is looking for a Continuous Improvement Specialist. The successful candidate will lead process improvement initiatives, analyse business operations, manage projects, provide operational insights, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance efficiency and performance.
Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end business process analysis using Value Stream Mapping, DMAIC, and related methodologies to identify improvement opportunities
- Execute continuous improvement initiatives and recommend sustainable, data-driven solutions
- Plan and facilitate Kaizen workshops and other structured improvement events
- Develop and maintain standard work, SOPs, and process documentation
- Manage small to mid-sized projects from initiation through completion
- Develop project plans, track milestones, and identify and resolve project risks
- Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery
- Manage multiple concurrent initiatives while balancing priorities and deadlines
- Define and refine KPIs and performance measurement frameworks
- Analyse operational and financial data to evaluate trends, productivity, and improvement results
- Prepare dashboards, business cases, ROI estimates, and analytical reports to support decision-making
- Perform workflow, time-based, and process analyses to support operational planning
- Provide guidance to managers on process design, improvement strategies, and operational controls
- Support planning, tracking, and reporting of improvement initiatives
- Build collaborative relationships with operational teams, support functions, and external vendors
- Support training materials, best practice documentation, and knowledge sharing for continuous improvement methodologies
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Engineering, Business, Operations Management, or a related field
- More than 2 years of experience in continuous improvement, analytics, business operations, or a related field
- Proficiency in data analysis and visualisation tools, including Excel, Power BI, or Tableau
- Possess a valid authorisation to work in Japan
- Professional level Japanese and English
Preferred requirements:
- Knowledge of project management methodologies such as Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid approaches
- Experience using project management tools such as Smartsheet, MS Project, Asana, Jira, or similaR
- Possess a valid PMP or CAPM certification
- Possess a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification
