EHSマネージャー/ EHS Manager

A multinational energy technology company is looking for an EHS Manager. The selected candidate will lead and implement country-level EHS strategies, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive a zero-harm culture across all business functions. This is a hybrid setup role.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with national and local EHS laws, regulations, and standards
• Promote and implement health, safety, and wellness programs across the organisation
• Support incident reporting, investigation, root cause analysis, and corrective actions
• Manage EHS KPIs, annual reporting, and internal and external communications
• Champion quality and EHS standards while guiding employees on regulatory requirements
• Engage internal and external stakeholders across project lifecycles to meet EHS requirements
• Support EHS implementation plans, audits, and incident management activities
• Ensure training compliance and lead risk assessments updated through audits and incidents
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives through lean practices, digitalisation, and innovation

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in technical, training, or EHS-related fields
• More than 5 years of hands-on experience in EHS
• Experience with incident management lifecycle, including reporting, investigation, root cause analysis, and corrective actions
• Proficient in EHS management systems, risk assessment, KPI reporting, and audit lifecycle
• Professional level Japanese; proficient in written and verbal English

Preferred requirements:

• Experience within the energy sector or power generation industry
• Exposure to quality management and security frameworks
• Experience in quality management, security, the energy sector, or power plant environments
• Possess a valid Lead Auditor Certificate in ISO 9001, 14001 and/or 45001, or trained as an internal Auditor with a good understanding of the Audit lifecycle
