QA/ QA

A global engineering solutions company is looking for a QA professional. The selected candidate will oversee quality assurance processes, support new product introductions, and drive continuous improvement across production operations.

Responsibilities:

• Support launch teams in NPI, sample production, and technical problem-solving throughout development and engineering phases
• Prepare and update process documents such as PFMEA, Flow Chart, SOP, BOM, and routing
• Coordinate maintenance management to standardise processes, optimise efficiency, and implement preventive and predictive maintenance
• Apply lean principles (5S, Kaizen, Kanban, SMED, etc.) to identify and eliminate waste
• Plan and control production layout to optimise material flow and space utilisation
• Conduct time studies, balance production lines, and lead continuous improvement projects
• Oversee production quality plans from feasibility to qualification stages, ensuring product compliance
• Handle customer documentation and complaints, and support audits and internal quality improvements
• Lead overseas transfer projects, monitor progress, and ensure objectives are met in quality, cost, and schedule
• Promote team efficiency, safety, and process improvement initiatives with cross-functional collaboration
• Comply with ESH policies and ensure workplace safety and environmental standards

Requirements:

• More than 3 years of experience in advanced quality control
• More than 5 years of experience in a relevant industry
• Familiar with ISO9001/ISO TS16949, PPAP, APQP, PFMEA, SPC, and measurement tools
• Knowledge of product and parts quality management
• Skilled in MS Office Suite
• Ability and willingness to travel
• Professional level Japanese; proficient in written and verbal English
