A global food manufacturing company is seeking a Quality Control & Customer Service Centre Leader. The selected candidate will lead inquiry handling processes, analyse customer data to drive product and food safety improvements, and support quality assurance and control activities across the organisation.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee consumer and customer inquiry handling, including fact-checking, decision-making, response management, and escalation processes
  • Manage inquiry data, including categorisation, aggregation, dashboard creation, and regular reporting to internal stakeholders
  • Develop team capabilities by training operators in communication, listening skills, and complaint handling and establishing standard procedures
  • Support quality control operations such as incoming inspections and factory hygiene management
  • Support quality assurance activities such as incident management and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Manufacturing, R&D, Marketing, Sales, and Consumer Affairs
  • Ensure accurate recording and analysis of inquiry data to generate insights for product quality and food safety improvement

Requirements:

  • More than 3 years of experience in customer service, quality assurance, quality control, product development, or consumer affairs
  • Experience using Excel or similar tools for data organisation and analysis
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to make decisions based on facts and data
  • Strong cross-functional communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Professional level Japanese; basic level English

Preferred requirements:

  • Knowledge of HACCP, FSSC 22000, or food labelling regulations
  • Experience in call centre operations or as a supervisor/leader
  • Experience in FAQ development or knowledge management systems
  • Conversational level English
