購買シニアスペシャリスト/ Purchasing Senior Specialist

An international automotive company is looking for a Purchasing Senior Specialist. The selected candidate will lead supplier selection, procurement strategy, cost-saving initiatives, stakeholder collaboration, and supplier management activities while supporting team operations and project execution.

Responsibilities:

• Lead supplier selection processes including RFQ management, quotation comparison, and supplier negotiations
• Decide suppliers based on procurement standards and internal approval processes
• Collaborate with business units regarding timelines and supplier tender participation
• Confirm tender documentation and supplier technical evaluations
• Manage conflicts and support resolution between stakeholders
• Conduct periodic supplier evaluations in collaboration with business units
• Monitor supplier evaluation results and implement necessary actions
• Deliver cost-saving initiatives through supplier competition and negotiations
• Track cost-saving performance to achieve KPIs
• Develop and implement mid-term purchasing strategies
• Collaborate with regional and headquarters purchasing teams on strategy alignment and information sharing
• Lead project-based procurement activities including supplier investigation and negotiation

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
• More than 5 years of experience in purchasing or related functions
• Experience in supplier selection, procurement strategy, and supplier management
• Expert proficiency in project management
• Advanced leadership and mentoring skills
• Native level Japanese; business level English
