A global eCommerce and cloud computing company is looking for a Procurement professional. The selected candidate will develop sourcing strategies, manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and drive cost savings.

Responsibilities:

• Build relationships with internal stakeholders to understand business priorities and procurement needs
• Develop global sourcing strategies aligned with business objectives
• Evaluate supplier capabilities, market competitiveness, and costs through benchmarking and cost analysis
• Manage sourcing activities, including RFx processes, contract reviews, bid evaluations, negotiations, and supplier consolidation
• Identify cost-saving opportunities through spend analysis and cross-category, supplier, and regional consolidation
• Drive cost savings and financial controls while advising stakeholders on procurement strategies, ensuring compliance with global policies, and reviewing supplier performance

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
• Experience in an indirect procurement function at a multinational corporation
• Experience managing spend across at least three of the following indirect categories (IT Software, IT Services, Corporate Services, Marketing, Contingent Labour, Facilities and Real Estate, Capital Expenditure, and Tail Spend)
• Prior experience with practicing best-in-class procurement processes (category management, benchmarking, should-cost models, RFX, reverse auction, contracting, etc.)
• Fluent level Japanese and English
