ソーシングスペシャリスト/ Sourcing Specialist

A multinational semiconductor company is looking for a Sourcing Specialist. The selected candidate will identify and develop suppliers for semiconductor equipment and materials, monitor market and technology trends, strengthen strategic supplier partnerships, and improve supply chain resilience.

Responsibilities:

• Collect and analyse semiconductor assembly industry and market dynamics, including high-end equipment and materials in the Japanese semiconductor market
• Monitor market, technology, and competitor developments and provide information on equipment and material capabilities in the advanced packaging market
• Support Business Units and site R&D teams with timely technology and supplier information to optimise processes and accelerate process iteration
• Expand and optimise the Japanese supplier pool for advanced technology equipment and materials
• Identify core suppliers and develop strategic cooperation to strengthen supply chain resilience
• Promote and accelerate core sourcing projects and strategic partnerships in advanced technology
• Expand supplier resources for secondary materials and spare parts
• Improve equipment and material delivery times, particularly for key spare parts and secondary materials facing supply bottlenecks

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above
• 3-8 years of experience in engineering within the semiconductor industry, particularly in materials or equipment
• Professional level Japanese and English
