間接購買担当/ Indirect Procurement

A global healthcare company is looking for an Indirect Procurement professional. The selected candidate will manage purchasing operations for services, goods, and fixed assets while driving supplier selection, negotiations, cost reduction, compliance, risk management, and procurement process improvements.

Responsibilities:

• Build close cooperative relationships with internal clients
• Achieve relevant procurement KPIs
• Formulate purchasing and cost reduction strategies to contribute to the company’s finances
• Monitor the market and conduct RFI, RFP, RFQ processes and bidding
• Collect information from internal stakeholders, prepare appropriate documentation, and manage schedules
• Conduct price and contract negotiations with suppliers
• Manage supplier evaluations in accordance with internal quality and evaluation guidelines
• Ensure supplier documentation is properly stored and filed
• Ensure suppliers apply framework agreements that protect against risks
• Ensure procurement compliance during supplier selection, evaluation, and negotiation processes
• Manage purchasing request reviews to avoid inappropriate purchases
• Analyse purchasing performance, expenditure data, quotations, and billing data to identify issues and propose improvements
• Manage purchasing operations for services, goods, and fixed assets
• Drive cost reduction activities and propose purchasing process improvements

Requirements:

• More than 7 years of experience in purchasing and procurement
• Basic knowledge of purchasing and procurement, including obtaining quotes, price comparisons, price negotiations, confirming contract terms, and managing the ordering process
• Ability to make appropriate judgements from purchasing, cost, contract, and risk perspectives
• Experience in quantitative analysis of purchasing performance, expenditure data, quotations, and billing data
• Business level Japanese (JLPT N1); proficient in English (TOEIC 750+)

Preferred requirements:

• Experience in indirect purchasing, including logistics, business trips and travel, marketing, external services, and real estate
• Practical work experience in the logistics, business trips and travel industries
• Knowledge of purchasing systems, supplier management systems, and other procurement-related systems and processes
