契約・調達マネージャー/ Contracts & Procurement Manager

A leading real asset management company is seeking a Contracts & Procurement Manager to support contract and procurement processes throughout the design and construction phases of data centre development projects in Japan.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and coordinate contract-related processes across the design and construction stages of development projects
• Liaise with internal teams and external parties to facilitate smooth contract and procurement workflows
• Oversee the collection, review, and circulation of contract documents prepared by internal legal teams or external counterparties
• Track contract progress, approval status, and signing procedures to ensure timely execution
• Maintain organised records of executed contracts and related correspondence
• Manage procurement schedules and coordinate with vendors during bidding, negotiation, and contracting stages
• Monitor payment schedules and ensure accurate reflection in project-level cash flow planning
• Support coordination of technical reviews with the Engineering team when required for contract execution
• Provide regular status updates and reports to project managers and senior management regarding contract progress and issues

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Construction Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field
• More than 5 years of experience in contracts and procurement management within construction or infrastructure projects
• Strong understanding of Japanese construction procurement processes, regulations, and compliance requirements
• Proven experience managing large-scale projects, preferably data centres
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite and contract management software
• Business level Japanese and English

Preferred requirements:

• Knowledge of international contract standards including FIDIC, JCT, and NEC
• Familiarity with cost control and cash flow management
• Possess a valid professional certification such as PMP or CIPS
