間接調達担当シニアスペシャリスト/ Senior Specialist Indirect Procurement

A global food and beverage company is looking for a Senior Specialist, Indirect Procurement. The selected candidate will develop sourcing strategies, manage supplier negotiations, and drive cost, quality, service, innovation, speed, and supply security targets. This is a hybrid role.

Responsibilities:

• Make analysis, identify issues/opportunities, build sourcing strategies, get it aligned with stakeholders, VE (spec change), Tender or Negotiation to select necessary partners, make recommendation to get alignment from Leadership Team where necessary and implement buying
• Act as representative towards key internal customers, stakeholders and external suppliers in terms of Vendor Selection, Negotiation of Cost/Quality/Service/Innovation/Speed/Supply Security, and contracting
• Manage necessary contracts with suppliers in hands-on categories, including negotiation (NDA, Standard General Terms and Conditions, Specifications)
• Apply Supplier Relationship Management methodology to achieve Cost, Quality, Service, Innovation, Speed targets

Requirements:

• Education background

- University Graduate

• Technical Skills and Experiences required

-Over 5-10 years of experience in Indirect Sourcing (Purchasing/Procurement) with solid saving realization [FMCG or Food industry is a plus]
- Advanced Negotiation, Tender, Contracting, Supplier Relationship Management skills
- Knowledge of general contracts
- Industrial analysis, Spend analysis, Benchmarking, Inflation forecasting, “Should Cost” modeling
- Excel, Power Point, Word
- Both Japanese & English language (writing & speaking. above TOEIC 800 level)
- SAP Process Knowledge
- Coupa knowledge is a plus
- Change management
- Localisation and implementation of global initiatives including negotiation with global stakeholders
