調達アシスタントマネージャー/ Procurement Assistant Manager
A multinational hospitality services company is looking for a Procurement Assistant Manager. The selected candidate will support procurement strategy development, manage supplier relationships, lead sourcing activities, oversee contract compliance, and drive cost optimisation and ESG initiatives across the supply chain. This is a hybrid setup role.
Responsibilities:
- Build effective supply and category plans reflecting local market conditions, customer needs, sourcing opportunities, logistics frameworks, and cultural considerations
- Identify new products and competitive supply sources through continuous market research
- Lead a small procurement team with 1–3 direct reports and promote collaboration across the function
- Manage tenders and sourcing processes to ensure auditable procurement practices and operational profitability
- Share best practices with local and regional colleagues to improve sourcing initiatives and procurement effectiveness
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies to achieve cost-effective procurement while maintaining quality and service standards
- Build strong supplier relationships to maximise value and eliminate non-value-added activities
- Evaluate and qualify suppliers based on operational capabilities and financial strength
- Monitor supplier performance, conduct risk assessments, and implement corrective actions
- Negotiate high-value contracts and supplier agreements incorporating sustainability and ethical sourcing criteria
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Business Administration, Procurement, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline
- More than 5 years of experience in procurement or supply chain
- Leadership skills, project leadership experience, and decision-making capabilities
- Experience in strategic sourcing, vendor negotiations, and contract management
- Experience implementing ESG-aligned procurement policies and supplier evaluation frameworks
- Experience communicating with international suppliers and managing complex supply chain scenarios across diverse regions
- Strong understanding of procurement principles, contract law, and strategic sourcing
- Proficiency in procurement software and ERP systems
- Knowledge of contract law and sourcing strategies
- Working knowledge of demand forecasting, inventory optimisation tools, and supply planning modules
- Advanced skills in MS Office Suite and familiarity with data tools for spend and supplier analysis
- Understanding of just-in-time methodologies, MOQ strategies, and lead time optimisation
- Knowledge of contract terms, commercial clauses, SLAs, NDAs, and ESG-related compliance requirements
- Proficiency in preparing RFQs, SOPs, procurement reports, and supplier evaluation summaries
- Native level local language; proficient in written and spoken English
Preferred requirements:
- Experience in the food-related industry
