シニアマーチャント/ Senior Merchant

An international trading organisation is looking for a Senior Merchant, Confectionery Ingredients. The selected candidate will drive profitable growth for dairy and confectionery ingredient products through sourcing, sales planning, risk control, and supplier management.

Responsibilities:

• Source dairy and confectionery ingredients that meet customer specifications and business strategies
• Manage daily trading operations, including contracts, shipments, inventories, credit, forex, and food safety risks
• Develop new business with new products, customers, and suppliers to increase profitability
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and vendors
• Create business plans covering sales forecasts, target volumes, pricing, revenue, and profitability
• Ensure supplier compliance with food safety policies and guidelines

Requirements:

• Excellent presentation, marketing and negotiation skills
• Strong CRM (client relationship management) skills
• Understanding of food industry practices (such as risk management / products / trade flow / regulations / food safety)
• Fluent level English

Preferred requirements:

• Experience in cocoa/dairy premix business, processing trade or triangular trade
• Prior experience in developing and creating new business
• Knowledge in accounting
• Skilled in tariff quota including TPP/EPA with related countries
