間接調達マネージャー/ Indirect Procurement Manager

A multinational manufacturing company is looking for a Procurement Manager. The selected candidate will lead plant procurement operations, manage supplier performance, support CAPEX projects, drive cost optimisation initiatives, and ensure compliance with procurement policies and operational objectives.

Responsibilities:

• Lead procurement activities for industrial and non-industrial goods, MRO, and services to support plant operations
• Manage procurement planning and execution for spare parts, utilities, and technical services
• Lead CAPEX procurement activities, including supplier sourcing, contract negotiation, and delivery coordination
• Drive supplier performance management, cost-reduction initiatives, and long-term sourcing strategies
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and global stakeholders to support operational and business objectives
• Support procurement process improvements, automation initiatives, and category strategy execution
• Provide procurement performance reporting, risk assessments, and value creation recommendations to management

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in a relevant field
• 5-10 years of experience in Opex procurement in an industrial environment (oil and gas, petrochemical, or fine chemical sectors)
• Experience in establishing and negotiating service contracts including equipment maintenance, asset maintenance, and general supply contracts
• Ability to work in a multinational environment and global team
• Experience acting as a key interface between local operational teams and regional sites
• Experience working in a matrix environment across organisations and functions
• Fluent level Japanese; proficient in English
