アロケーションマネージャー/ Allocation Manager

An international consumer brand is looking for an Allocation Manager. The selected candidate will optimise inventory levels, develop allocation strategies, analyse sales and stock performance, coordinate cross-functional supply activities, and lead the allocation team.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop seasonal allocation strategies aligned with product, investment, and commercial plans
  • Coordinate with Planning and Buying teams to align allocation plans with product assortments, launch schedules, target quantities, and seasonal priorities
  • Lead initial inventory releases, in-season replenishment, stock redistribution, and end-of-season stock returns to optimise sell-through and inventory health
  • Drive promotional and markdown strategies in line with financial and commercial goals
  • Monitor sales, stock, size performance, forecasts, and inventory coverage at SKU and store level to identify risks and missed sales opportunities
  • Optimise store inventory through automatic replenishment, quota management, inventory releases, and stock redistribution
  • Coordinate with Supply Planning and Logistics to manage inbound stock, delivery schedules, shipment priorities, and contingency plans
  • Provide weekly visibility of allocation details and stock information to stores and cross-functional teams
  • Use allocation systems and reporting tools to maintain accurate inventory data and support continuous improvement
  • Drive service and inventory KPIs including on-time and in-full sales orders, presence rates, sales order fulfilment, lost sales, and stock coverage
  • Provide actionable recommendations to Planning, Sales, Retail, Marketing, Digital, and Business Planning teams to improve commercial performance
  • Coach and develop Allocators, set team priorities, monitor workflows, and remove roadblocks to ensure timely delivery

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or above
  • 6-8 years of experience in merchandise planning and analysis
  • Experience in merchandise planning and allocation systems, with allocation or distribution experience
  • Advanced PC skills including Excel and PPT
  • Business level Japanese and English

Preferred requirements:

  • Experience with SAP or JDA
  • Financial or accounting background
  • Experience with MicroStrategy or Power BI
  • Experience working with senior stakeholders across local, regional, and global teams
