Head of Operations

A renowned company in the construction sector is looking for a Head of Operations. The selected candidate will lead operational functions across material management, logistics, customer service, performance optimisation and team development.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee material management, yard operations, customer service, order management, site supervision and freight management
• Drive operational and material KPIs, profitability, efficiency and cost optimisation
• Implement and continuously improve commercial, reverse logistics, material management and facility processes
• Integrate operational and material planning with financial planning processes
• Manage material quality, portfolio performance and strategic improvement initiatives
• Coordinate Operations with Sales, Engineering and Finance while recruiting and developing Operations staff

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in the field of business management, general management or operations / logistics
• More than 5 years of operational / logistics experience (construction services environment is a plus)
• Experience in leadership and people development
• Understanding of company business models, operational procedures, and market approach
• Knowledge of PSD and other related systems
• Familiarity with cost control and management
• Proficient in MS Office Suite
• Excellent management, intercultural and social skills
• Possess valid health and safety Qualification
• Native level English and Japanese
