ロジスティクススペシャリスト/ Logistics Specialist

A global chemical manufacturing company is seeking a Logistics Specialist. The selected candidate will manage import, export and domestic shipments, warehouse coordination, inventory control and trade compliance. This is a hybrid role.

Responsibilities:

• Manage daily logistics operations and resolve operational issues
• Coordinate import, export and domestic shipments with logistics partners
• Handle customs clearance and ensure compliance with relevant regulations
• Support logistics operations for chemical products
• Coordinate with logistics vendors and internal teams while maintaining inventory accuracy
• Process trade-related documentation, manage logistics data in SAP, support freight settlement and report operational performance

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above
• More than 4 years of logistics experience
• Experience overseeing DG shipments including regulatory compliance (Fire Service Law, Chemical regulations in Japan)
• Prior experience in customs clearance coordination and vendor management in Japan
• Knowledge of international trade and logistics processes
• Understanding of EPA applications and trade-related procedures
• Business level reading, written, and spoken English; native level reading, written, and spoken Japanese (Mandarin is a plus)

Preferred requirements:

• Experience in inventory management and logistics operations in a corporate environment
• Prior experience in freight forwarding, customs brokerage, or international logistics operations
• Understanding of SAP or similar systems
• Proficient in MS PowerPoint, Copilot, and data analysis
