An international filtration and industrial solutions company is seeking a Material Planning & Logistics Manager. The role is responsible for leading end-to-end supply chain operations, including forecasting, inventory management, logistics planning, and customer service excellence. This is a hybrid setup role.

Responsibilities:

  • Define and execute MP&L strategy aligned with global supply chain and business priorities
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across materials planning and logistics processes to enhance efficiency and service levels
  • Develop and implement inventory strategies for distribution centres and manage inventory performance
  • Establish and manage backorder tracking systems and execute recovery plans to meet customer commitments
  • Oversee end-to-end supply chain execution including control tower operations and delivery performance monitoring
  • Coordinate with production, distribution, and transportation teams to optimise forecast-to-fulfilment processes
  • Lead customer service operations ensuring timely fulfilment and proactive communication with stakeholders
  • Develop and implement service level agreements with customers, suppliers, and functional departments
  • Manage relationships with 3PL providers and participate in business performance reviews
  • Lead forecasting, inventory planning, and SIOP processes in alignment with operational and financial goals
  • Ensure data integrity and leverage analytics to improve forecasting accuracy and identify supply chain risks
  • Monitor key performance indicators and report supply chain performance to senior leadership
  • Lead and develop a multidisciplinary team, fostering capability building, succession planning, and operational excellence

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related logistics-focused field
  • More than 5 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, or operations with team management responsibilities
  • Experience in inventory management, customer service integration, and end-to-end supply chain operations
  • Experience working with ERP systems, supply chain platforms, and data analytics tools
  • Experience collaborating with global stakeholders and external service providers is an advantage
  • Professional level Japanese and English
