CSR

A multinational manufacturing and supply chain company is seeking a CSR. The selected candidate will coordinate customer orders, SAP processing, inventory, shipping and logistics, trade compliance, claims, and communication with customers, manufacturing mills, and third-party vendors. This is a remote setup role.

Responsibilities:

• Act as a key liaison between the organisation and customers
• Serve as the Single Point Accountability for customers and mills regarding order fulfilment issues
• Analyse customer needs and recommend improvements to order fulfilment processes and flows
• Process and enter customer orders into SAP and track progress through completion
• Manage order status reporting, shipping documents, trade compliance, inventory, LC negotiation, accounts receivable, and claims
• Ensure pricing is entered correctly into SAP according to customer purchase orders
• Respond to order status, expedite, inventory, and lead time enquiries
• Handle customer issues and complaints
• Coordinate with mill sales administration teams and logistics parties to ensure timely delivery
• Liaise with third-party freight forwarders and transportation companies in Japan for import customs clearance and warehouse storage
• Coordinate customer deliveries and issue shipping instructions to transportation companies
• Approve logistics invoices against delivery orders and service contracts
• Perform and transmit inventory movements corresponding to deliveries and pickups
• Generate month-end inventory reports
• Provide backup support for other team members
• Handle ad hoc assignments, projects, and tasks assigned by the team leader
• Support SOX compliance audits and reviews

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Business Administration, Economics, International Trade Business Management, or a related field
• More than 5 years of experience in customer service, shipping, and logistics
• More than 3 years of experience working with Japanese customers in Japan
• Familiarity with international trade compliance and regulations
• Familiarity with ERP/SAP order management systems
• Manufacturing and supply chain mindset
• Native level Japanese (JLPT N1); business level English

Preferred requirements:

• Knowledge of trade finance
