Marketing Head
An international technology company is looking for a Marketing Head. The successful candidate will lead end-to-end marketing strategy, brand campaigns, media planning, retail marketing, and partner initiatives to drive brand growth and business performance across Japan.
Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end marketing campaign planning for products and brand initiatives
- Develop and execute marketing communications, media strategy, and localisation
- Drive paid media, public relations, influencer campaigns, and retail marketing initiatives
- Plan and execute product launches, brand events, and co-marketing activities with mobile network operators and retail partners
- Manage social media, CRM, owned media, campaign budgets, and marketing performance reporting
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to drive brand, marketing, and business objectives
Requirements:
- Experience leading integrated marketing communications, including campaign planning, media strategy, and localisation
- Experience leading and developing high-performing marketing teams
- Strong revenue-driven marketing expertise with a focus on sell-out and mid- to lower-funnel marketing
- Experience working with channel partners and retailers to execute go-to-market and co-marketing activities
- Strong understanding of marketing and business metrics with a proven track record of driving revenue growth and marketing ROI
- Business level Japanese and English
Preferred requirements:
- Experience in the smartphone, telecommunications, MNO/MVNO, or consumer electronics industry
- Experience with retail or trade marketing and carrier business
- Experience in public relations, influencer marketing, CRM, and owned media management
- Experience with consumer insights, eCommerce, and social listening
- Experience with AI-enabled marketing and marketing technology
- Understanding of P&L and business KPIs
- Curiosity for emerging technologies and consumer trends
