Head of Marketing Communications

A global golf equipment and apparel company is looking for a Head of Marketing Communications. The selected candidate will lead brand communications, PR, media strategies, and customer engagement while managing the brand communications team.

Responsibilities:

• Analyse consumer insights and identify opportunities to strengthen brand presence
• Lead integrated communications across traditional and digital media
• Develop and execute PR activities and branding strategies
• Manage owned media platforms and optimise channel performance
• Strengthen customer loyalty through data-driven engagement strategies
• Lead, coach, and develop team members

Requirements:

• More than 5 years of leadership experience
• Experience in brand management (planning and managing external events, scheduling and budgeting)
• Prior experience in creating strategies for digital communications including SNS (Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube) and directing content creation
• Native level Japanese; business level English

Preferred requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in marketing, communications or business
• Experience working in the golf industry
• Prior experience managing brand and marketing operations for sports brands or luxury consumer durables
• Proven experience in brand management at an advertising firm
