M&Aスペシャリスト/ M&A Specialist

A mobile technology company is seeking an M&A Specialist. The selected candidate will take ownership of M&A and investment deals from sourcing and due diligence through valuation, deal structuring, contract negotiation, closing, and post-investment support.

Responsibilities:

• Develop domestic and international networks with startups, VC firms, and M&A advisors in the growth sector
• Lead M&A and investment deal execution, including business and overall management due diligence, valuation, deal structure planning, contract negotiation, and closing with supervisors
• Execute post-investment PMI and create synergies with the Growth Business Division
• Support business development following investment activities
• Build processes and workflows for due diligence and contract negotiations during the organisation’s startup phase
• Contribute to investments in the growth sector that support the creation of champion businesses and discontinuous growth for the company

Requirements:

• More than 3 years of practical experience in M&A, FA, PE, or operating companies, including involvement in due diligence, valuation, contract negotiation, and closing
• Practical skills in understanding and modelling financial statements and valuations
• Experience assisting with the negotiation and conclusion of investment contracts and related matters
• Intellectual curiosity and the ability to independently learn and structure an understanding of unknown fields, including cutting-edge AI technologies
• Commitment to completing projects through to closing, including detailed involvement in due diligence and negotiations
• Professional level English

Preferred requirements:

• Deep knowledge of AI or technology, or an engineering background
• Experience managing startups and participating in hands-on sessions
• English reading and writing experience, including reading and comprehending overseas materials and contracts
• Experience executing post-acquisition PMI
