M&Aマネージャー/ M&A Manager

A renowned data centre services company is looking for an M&A Manager. The selected candidate will lead strategic investment initiatives, support project structuring activities, and manage end-to-end M&A transactions. This is a hybrid role.

Responsibilities:

• Lead M&A projects, including asset acquisitions and corporate acquisitions
• Structure greenfield and brownfield projects in collaboration with the Corporate Development Project Development Manager
• Serve as the main point of contact for day-to-day coordination with DE investors under the guidance and partnership of the CIO team
• Maintain and develop a business pipeline for sourcing investment opportunities
• Build and maintain relationships with business partners, including contractors, financial institutions, and engineering companies
• Monitor the M&A landscape and key announcements to develop insights on industry activities and market trends
• Work on all aspects of M&A transactions, including analysis, strategy development, deal negotiation, execution, and integration
• Set optimisation targets and provide recommendations to support senior management decisions related to growth opportunities, market development, risk mitigation, and profitability improvement
• Collaborate with the sales, operations, and finance teams to manage the PMI process
• Support the development and execution of post-merger integration plans and track the performance of completed deals
• Identify opportunities for revenue generation and cost reduction within merged businesses

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or above
• Background in the international investment or finance industry
• Capable of bridging global and Japanese business culture, building good relationships and negotiating with M&A counterparties
• Strong experience with projections/forecasts, due diligence and deal structure strategies
• Fluent level Japanese and English

Preferred Requirements:

• Working experience in business operation companies
• Experience in the data centre industry
• Related experience in M&A, investment banking, private equity, consulting or other analytical finance role
