ジュニア法務顧問/ Junior Legal Counsel

A global beverage and consumer goods company is looking for a Junior Legal Counsel for Japan & South Korea. The selected candidate will provide strategic legal support across business functions, manage contract and compliance matters, and partner with stakeholders to support marketing, innovation, and business growth initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic legal advice and business-partnering support across multiple functions
• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements and marketing-related contracts
• Support marketing teams on campaigns, promotions, advertising materials, and consumer communications
• Provide guidance on compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies
• Conduct legal research and coordinate with external counsel on complex legal matters
• Support litigation assessment, risk mitigation, and dispute management activities
• Participate in innovation projects, product launches, and business initiatives
• Provide legal support related to corporate governance, anti-bribery, competition, and trade compliance policies
• Represent company interests with governmental authorities and key stakeholders
• Support efficiency and process improvement initiatives within the legal function
• Collaborate with leadership teams and cross-functional stakeholders on strategic legal matters

Requirements:

• 2-5 years of experience in legal practice or corporate legal support
• Experience supporting marketing activities and marketing-related legal regulations
• Experience drafting and negotiating commercial agreements and contracts
• Knowledge of corporate law, compliance, contract negotiation, intellectual property law, and litigation
• Ability to communicate complex legal matters clearly to business stakeholders
• Possess a valid qualified attorney licence in Japan and/or a common-law jurisdiction
• Business level Japanese and English
