チーフコンプライアンスオフィサー/ Chief Compliance Officer

A global insurance company is seeking a Chief Compliance Officer. The selected candidate will oversee compliance functions, enhance regulatory processes, and advise on compliance risks.

Responsibilities:

• Manage compliance advisory functions and foster a culture of robust business challenge
• Enhance compliance policies to align with FSA regulatory requirements
• Analyse complex risks and engage directly with regulators
• Deliver compliance training and maintain awareness of compliance risks
• Develop and execute monitoring and testing plans, ensuring control effectiveness
• Oversee key compliance controls, including AML, ethical walls, and regulatory reporting

Requirements:

• More than 15 years of experience in compliance gained in an FSA-registered investment management firm
• Understanding of rules and regulations relevant to the company’s investment activities in Japan
• Skilled in assessing risk and communicating results to board-level senior management
• Excellent oral communication skills
• Proficient in Japanese and English
