Official sponsor of the Japan Rugby Football Union

Robert Walters Japan (Head office: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo, Managing Director: David Swan), the bilingual specialist recruitment company, has finalized an official sponsorship agreement with the Japan Rugby Football Union (Hereafter “JRFU.” Office: Kita-Aoyama, Minato-ku, Tokyo, President: Tadashi Okamura), a public interest incorporated foundation that organizes Japan national rugby union teams. Starting from 1 April 2016, Robert Walters Japan will be the official sponsor for the Japan national rugby union team, national rugby sevens team, and junior teams including national U20 (under twenties) rugby union team.

The agreement is effective for four years till 31 March 2020, and covers the national rugby union teams for men’s fifteens and sevens rugby (Japan A team, U20 team, etc.). The Japan national rugby union team shocked the world last year with their dramatic improvement. Robert Walters Japan will continue to support Japanese national representatives by renewing sponsorship agreements that have been in effect since 2014.

As a sponsor, Robert Walters Japan will continue to enhance the visibility of Japan national rugby union teams through efforts such as the use of logos in corporate advertisements, and promotions that feature the athletes and team mascot.
