シニアシステムエンジニア/ Senior Systems Engineer

An international networking and connectivity solutions company is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer. The selected candidate will provide pre-sales technical expertise, deliver partner training, design networking solutions, support customer engagements, and collaborate with sales and product teams to drive market growth.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver technical training programmes for sales partners, including MSPs, VARs, and distributors
• Develop training materials covering product advantages, competitive differentiators, and use cases
• Equip partner sales teams with solution design skills and promote certification and technical accreditation programmes
• Gather customer requirements, provide technical consulting, conduct product demonstrations, and support Proof of Concept activities
• Lead the design and deployment of enterprise Wi-Fi, switches, routers, security solutions, and cloud solutions
• Conduct RF wireless site surveys and network design using tools such as Ekahau
• Design secure networks based on Zero Trust architecture principles, including user and device segmentation and role-based access control
• Implement scalable cloud-managed networking across multiple locations, including zero-touch deployment, alerting, and firmware management
• Prepare technical presentations, proposals, RFP and RFI responses, and competitive comparison documents
• Monitor competitor products, industry trends, and market developments and share insights internally

Requirements:

• 5-8 years of experience in customer-facing technical roles such as Sales Engineer or Network Engineer
• Strong knowledge of Wi-Fi 6/6E/7 wireless technologies
• Expertise in Layer 2/Layer 3 switching, VLANs, routing, QoS, and network security
• Experience with cloud networking platforms such as NETGEAR Insight
• Understanding of Zero Trust security concepts, including identity-based access control and micro-segmentation
• Strong troubleshooting and solution design skills for wired and wireless networks
• Ability and willingness to travel approximately 25-50% depending on territory
• Native level Japanese; business level English

Preferred requirements:

• Experience using wireless design tools such as Ekahau
• Experience supporting and educating MSPs or mid-market business partners
• Experience designing networks for multi-site or large enterprise environments
• Knowledge of Pro AV networking technologies such as Dante and AES67
• Possess valid industry certifications such as CWNA, CCNA, or CCNP
