テクニカルサポートエンジニア/ Technical Support Engineer

A global IP management solutions company is looking for a Technical Support Engineer. The selected candidate will provide customer focused technical support, troubleshoot software issues and collaborate with internal teams to resolve customer problems. This is a hybrid role.

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support for software inquiries, issues and task execution requests across Japan and Asia
• Troubleshoot customer issues and deliver timely solutions or workarounds
• Manage multiple technical issues simultaneously and prioritise tasks effectively
• Conduct web conferences to diagnose and resolve customer issues
• Collaborate with software development and product management teams to resolve product defects
• Attend regular client meetings and contribute to discussions on customer issue resolution

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in computer related studies
• More than 5 years of experience as a technical support engineer in the software industry
• Experience with SQL language
• Knowledge of Azure, IIS, and SQL Server
• Possess valid authorisation to work in Japan
• Proficient in Japanese (JLPT N1 is a plus); business level English (Chinese is a plus)

Preferred requirements:

• Experience in a technical account management role in a support department
• Prior experience working with product development teams at a software company
• Proven experience developing web applications using Microsoft ASP.NET and C#
• Previous experience building reports on Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services
• Background as a Microsoft SQL Server Database Administrator (DBA)
• Understanding of Intellectual Property
