A foreign IT security company is searching for a Partner Success Manager. The selected applicant will drive partner growth, increase service adoption, and ensure a best-in-class partner experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyse territory and plan for dedicated geographies to identify top potential partners, develop relationships with key decision makers, and maintain regular contact depending on priority
  • Align with cloud distributors for joint channel enablement activities and drive quarter-over-quarter cloud revenue growth through assigned partners
  • Train new and existing partners on existing and new products, support daily business and technology development, and guide onboarding and enablement with necessary knowledge, resources and tools
  • Perform account planning with all managed partners based on engagement, loyalty and responsiveness
  • Motivate and enable partners to sell services to existing and new customers and help retain existing customers
  • Drive partner satisfaction by acting as a trusted advisor and single point of contact throughout the partner lifecycle
  • Drive successful upsell and cross-sell initiatives to increase the new services attach rate
  • Engage and orchestrate internal resources, including Presales and Technical support teams, to support partner growth
  • Profile every managed partner on vendors and tools they use, and update partner information
  • Lead partners through lifecycle management with regular activities focused on educating, evangelising and securing commitments
  • Monitor key KPIs, including total revenue from signed partners, churn rate, and number of services sold through partners

Requirements:

  • More than 5 years of sales and marketing experience in the software industry
  • Equivalent industry experience
  • Background in channel sales, partner account manager, and channel development position within a software vendor
  • In-depth channel and field sales experience with an understanding of the cloud market business model
  • Strong presentation, communication and planning skills
  • Native Japanese; business level English
