QAエンジニア/ QA Engineer

A multinational technology-driven consumer products company is seeking a QA Engineer. The successful candidate will design and execute test plans, analyse test results, maintain automation scripts and drive continuous quality improvements across technology projects.

Responsibilities:

• Understand the functions and features of websites, applications and systems
• Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, developers and internal business users to clarify testing scope and develop test plans
• Work with local QA vendors to design test scenarios and test cases based on business requirements
• Execute tests according to project schedules
• Analyse test results, including defect counts, affected features and root causes
• Recommend improvements to QA processes and technology activities based on test analysis
• Maintain test automation scripts and assess the implementation of new tools
• Perform automation script testing, ecosystem testing and regression testing before monthly sprints
• Support critical projects to verify product and system quality

Requirements:

• More than 5 years of experience in systems and applications quality assurance
• Experience designing test scenarios and test cases
• Experience executing tests, including API testing
• Experience with test automation tools such as Playwright and Selenium
• Experience improving testing efficiency using AI tools
• Experience analysing test results and proposing improvements
• Advanced level Japanese; intermediate level English

Preferred requirements:

• Possess a valid ISTQB or JSTQB certification
