ITアプリケーションマネージャー/ IT Application Manager

An international apparel and footwear company is seeking an IT Application Manager. The successful candidate will manage application projects, collaborate with global teams and local vendors, maintain and improve IT systems, and ensure solutions meet business requirements and global IT policies. This is a hybrid setup role.

Responsibilities:

• Manage local front-end applications and coordinate with global teams and local vendors
• Collaborate with vendors and internal application support and maintenance teams to ensure stable omnichannel platform operations
• Develop front-end systems roadmaps to meet local user requirements
• Plan and manage application projects in line with local IT strategy and global IT policies
• Improve system platforms through appropriate new technologies aligned with IT direction
• Act as the key IT contact for business functions to ensure effective support
• Maintain and enhance existing systems to support business objectives
• Lead application projects and take accountability for their outcomes
• Lead the team and support individual employee development

Requirements:

• Experience in IT or IS within a multinational company, or IT management experience
• Knowledge of major application software, including SAP, POS, and B2B/B2C platforms
• Project management skills
• Good interpersonal skills and a customer-oriented approach
• Ability to manage multiple tasks
• Proficient in Japanese and English

Preferred requirements:

• Experience working with business functions such as Retail, Finance, Merchandising, or Logistics
• Experience with retail, inventory, or order management systems
• Experience with SAP FICO and SD/MM
• Experience in the apparel and footwear retail industry
