セキュリティマネージャー/ Security Manager

A multinational semiconductor and advanced manufacturing company is looking for a Security Manager. The selected candidate will lead comprehensive site security operations, risk management, and crisis response while ensuring compliance with internal policies, laws, and industry standards.

Responsibilities:

• Plan, operate, and continuously improve security measures in line with corporate policies, legal requirements, and industry best practices
• Implement and manage security equipment, including CCTV, access control systems, X-ray machines, metal detectors, and sensors
• Manage visitor and vehicle access to minimise security risks
• Monitor prohibited items and control asset removal to prevent information leakage, theft, and loss
• Develop and operate secure parking procedures to ensure safe and efficient traffic flow
• Establish and implement emergency response, facility security, and crisis management procedures
• Build and maintain relationships with police and security authorities to align emergency responses with legal requirements
• Develop and manage security policies covering investigations, executive protection, workplace violence prevention, and asset protection
• Manage security budgets, staffing, and resources with a focus on cost efficiency
• Measure security performance using KPIs and OKRs and report outcomes to management
• Develop, review, and maintain security programmes to protect employees, visitors, partners, and confidential information
• Provide security planning and execution for VIP, customer, and government official visits
• Conduct risk assessments and security audits, and implement improvement actions
• Oversee recruitment, training, and management of security staff to ensure effective monitoring and emergency response
• Collaborate with risk management and emergency response teams on crisis management, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in an IT-related field
• More than 5 years of practical experience in information security
• More than 3 years of experience in team management, leading teams of five or more
• More than 2 years of work experience in Japan
• Proven experience in information security, risk assessment, and project management
• Proficient in MS Office Suite
• Native level Japanese; business level English

Preferred requirements:

• Experience working in a foreign-owned company, particularly within the manufacturing sector
• Possess valid Information security certifications such as CISSP, CISA, or CISM
• Proficient in Chinese or Taiwanese
