AI テクニカルリード/ AI Technical Lead

A global IT company is hiring an AI Technical Lead for a major retailer's store system modernisation. The chosen candidate will own architecture using React/Next.js + AWS, and lead enterprise adoption of AI coding tools (Claude Code, GitHub Copilot). This is a hybrid role.

Responsibilities:

• Design technical architecture for development using React (Next.js) and generative AI
• Lead enterprise adoption of AI coding tools, including GitHub Copilot and Claude Code
• Formulate quality and security guardrails for AI-generated code
• Establish AI usage policies, review criteria, and approval processes
• Improve development processes using AI-assisted development methodologies
• Drive test automation and CI/CD pipeline construction
• Lead system design and development in an AWS environment
• Provide technical guidance to on-site and offshore development teams
• Conduct technical reviews and quality control
• Prepare technical proposals and explain solutions to clients
• Work closely with client teams on requirements gathering, technical verification, architecture design, and development
• Promote Agile, DevOps, and generative AI-driven development methodologies
• Collaborate with domestic and international engineers to drive modernisation initiatives

Requirements:

• More than 5 years of web application development experience, with an Agile development background
• Experience with client requirements gathering, requirements definition, and design
• Experience in design and quality reviews
• Cloud development experience
• Experience with React, JavaScript, TypeScript, and REST API design
• Proficient in Japanese (JLPT N2+)

Preferred Requirements:

• Experience with AI-assisted development, including GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, etc.
• AWS cloud architecture design and construction experience
• Agile (Scrum) development experience
• CI/CD construction and DevOps practice experience
• Experience developing in mixed on-site/offshore teams
• Retail business systems experience, including POS, store systems, inventory management, CRM, or e-commerce
• UI component design experience
• Business level English
