クラウドインフラエンジニア/ Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

A multinational eCommerce company is looking for an Infrastructure Engineer. The selected candidate will manage scalable cluster environments, improve production performance, and drive automation across core services. This is a contract role.

Responsibilities:

• Design and deploy multi-node clusters with cost, redundancy, and capacity in mind
• Validate and implement new solutions to improve functionality and performance
• Standardise and automate service management processes
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain the core production environment

Requirements:

• Experience in VMware environment (ESXi, vCenter Server)
• Prior experience in automation and configuration management using Chef, Ansible, and Terraform
• Proven experience using CI/CD tools (Jenkins, CircleCI)
• Background in incident monitoring and troubleshooting
• Excellent Linux/Unix system administration skills
• Proficient in Python or Shell scripting
• Knowledge of virtualisation and cloud computing
• Business level Japanese and English (TOEIC 800+)

Preferred requirements:

• Experience using cloud platforms (e.g., OpenStack, AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Prior experience and practical knowledge of IP network systems and protocols
• Proven experience in web application development
• Background as a Scrum Master and Project Manager
• Prior background in service operations using Docker and Kubernetes
