バリデーションエンジニア/ Validation Engineer

A multinational automotive technology company is seeking a Validation Engineer. The selected candidate will design and execute validation strategies, conduct system-level testing, and collaborate across engineering teams to ensure product quality and performance. This is a contract role.

Responsibilities:

• Develop comprehensive and feasible test plans based on application requirements and product scope
• Define and document test specifications through detailed analysis of requirements and design documents
• Coordinate validation activities across multiple product lines and modules to ensure consistency and coverage
• Conduct functional and system-level testing using SDKs and validation tools
• Identify software issues, document findings, and collaborate with engineering teams to resolve defects
• Communicate with engineering, UX, and product teams throughout validation stages to ensure alignment
• Support external contractors during test execution and assist in validation cycles
• Track and report validation progress to stakeholders to support decision-making processes

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above
• Experience in automotive systems engineering and testing with strong understanding of embedded software and vehicle architecture
• Experience in requirement and design analysis, test specification creation, and execution
• Proficiency in tools such as Jira and Jama and familiarity with validation workflows and documentation standards
• Proficiency in programming languages including C++, Python, Go, Rust, or C
• Experience with CI workflows and Docker integration
• Experience in software development, test frameworks, and test automation tools
• Possess a valid ISTQB certification
• Fluent level Japanese

Preferred requirements:

• Experience with Flutter
• Experience with CI automation tools such as GitHub workflows and YAML
• Experience in automotive industry environments
• Experience with test languages such as Gherkin
