A leading financial services company is looking for a Java Developer. The selected candidate will develop and maintain backend solutions while collaborating with cross-location teams. This is a long-term contract role.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-location teams in Tokyo, Hong Kong, India, and China
• Develop and maintain backend solutions using Java 11 or later with relational database integration
• Support key initiatives, including system stability enhancements and hygiene improvements
• Integrate modern technologies with legacy systems for seamless operations and future decommissioning
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous delivery pipelines in a DevOps environment
• Apply best practices in clean code, automated testing, and CI/CD processes

Requirements:

• More than 3 years of experience in Java Development
• Experience in back end development
• Prior experience with relational databases (Sybase, PostgreSQL, etc.)
• Proven experience with NoSQL databases (MongoDB) is ideal
• Background in functional programming (Scala) is a plus
• Proficient in Java (version 11 or later)
• Knowledge of storage architectures and their appropriate application
• Understanding of Agile/DevOps methodologies and practices
