ITデータアーキテクト/ IT Data Architect

An international medical technology company is looking for an IT Data Architect. The chosen candidate will drive business and IT transformation by aligning technology, data, and applications with business needs. This is a hybrid role.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and deployment of the Data Ecosystem, aligning with IT teams in and outside Japan and business stakeholders
• Ensure data architecture decisions are consistent across the enterprise and reviewed by the Global team and JPN IT managers
• Manage progress and communicate updates to business stakeholders, Head of IT, and Enterprise Applications Group Manager
• Build a company-wide data governance operation in collaboration with business stakeholders
• Lead and implement data integration, provision, management demand, and operations with the support of global and regional data teams
• Ensure the secure design of architecture and solutions based on guidelines and regulations
• Design, deploy, and manage the Data Ecosystem in alignment with IT and business stakeholders

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of Database, Data Management, and Data Architect experience (Data Lake/Data Mart/Data Catalog/Data Governance Framework)
• Team Leader experience in Project Management in a global context
• Experience in designing and implementing interfaces such as ELT/API
• Experience in running data governance
• Experience in building back-end databases and data processing modules using Python/SQL, etc.
• Basic coding skills in Python or SQL for data processing and querying
• Knowledge of compliance, quality, cybersecurity, and data privacy regulations
• Experience in Agile Scrum
• Business level Japanese and English

Preferred Requirements:

• Experience with CRM data integration projects such as CDP
• Experience with statistical tools such as R/SPSS
• Experience with Design Thinking / Lean Startup / Agile Scrum
