データサイエンティスト/ Data Scientist

A global IT company is looking for a Data Scientist. The selected applicant will design and develop a wide range of AI solutions, from PoC through to full production, using machine learning, generative AI, natural language processing, and computer vision. This is a hybrid role.

Responsibilities:

• Analyse client business issues and requirements
• Plan, design, and develop AI solutions
• Conduct data analysis and model development using Python, R, SQL
• Perform data preprocessing and feature engineering
• Select, construct, and optimise ML/deep learning models
• Train and tune models and verify accuracy
• Conduct testing and effectiveness verification of AI solutions
• Report analysis results and proposals, and present directly to clients
• Collaborate with data engineers, business analysts, and domain experts
• Research and technically verify the latest AI technologies and market trends
• Support client AI implementation and adoption efforts

Requirements:

• More than 6 years of AI or data science experience
• Direct client requirements or proposal experience
• Experience translating business challenges into AI solutions with clients/stakeholders
• Fluent level written and verbal Japanese; advanced business level English

Preferred Requirements:

• Master’s degree or above in computer science
• Practical experience in ML, deep learning, NLP, or computer vision
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure)
• Experience as a technical/team lead on AI projects
• Client presentation and consulting experience
• TensorFlow/PyTorch experience; AI ethics, data privacy, and governance knowledge; AI implementation roadmap, ROI analysis, and risk assessment experience
