A global consulting firm is looking for an eDiscovery professional. The selected candidate will lead end-to-end eDiscovery operations, support clients on data preservation and litigation readiness, and deliver high-quality work aligned with Japanese legal and regulatory requirements. This is a hybrid role.

Responsibilities:

• Establish eDiscovery protocols, standards, and best practices for preservation, collection, review, and production
• Manage and verify case-critical data across the full eDiscovery life cycle with speed and accuracy
• Advise clients on large-scale data collection, document retention, and chain-of-custody procedures
• Build custom solutions using industry-standard eDiscovery tools to meet client requirements
• Communicate with clients and internal teams, and prepare reports and presentations in Japanese and English
• Review work quality, resolve technical and operational issues, and maintain accessible electronic files for litigation needs

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above (computer science, management information systems, or related preferred)
• Experience with EnCase, Cellebrite, BlackBag, Nuix, Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft Exchange / O365, Relativity, Brainspace, or any other comparable tools in the region
• Prior experience working on litigation cases alongside forensic accounting and legal teams
• Excellent project management skills
• Fluent level Japanese; business level English

Preferred requirements:

• 5-8 years of professional or consulting experience in eDiscovery
