テクニカルセールスエンジニア/ Technical Sales Engineer

A multinational industrial equipment company is looking for a Technical Sales Engineer. The successful candidate will provide after-sales technical support, troubleshoot equipment issues, perform machine demonstrations and installations, and support sales operations through customer communication and reporting. This is a hybrid setup role.

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support and respond to customer enquiries regarding machines and spare parts
• Troubleshoot technical issues and machine breakdowns
• Conduct technical explanations, product demonstrations, and machine installations
• Travel to customer sites within Japan to perform maintenance and after-sales support
• Prepare quotations and submit them to customers following internal review
• Prepare internal sales forecasts and reports using company systems and Excel
• Attend regular follow-up meetings with customers
• Communicate professionally with internal and external stakeholders regarding quotations, inventory, deliveries, sales status, and forecasting

Requirements:

• Technical background or experience in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or a related field
• Experience supporting technical service, field service, equipment maintenance, or after-sales activities
• Ability and willingness to travel
• Possess a valid driver's licence
• Native level Japanese; fluent level English

Preferred requirements:

• Possess a valid Electrician Certification (電気工事士免状)
