A multinational maritime technology solutions company is looking for a New Business Sales Manager – Maritime. The selected candidate will drive new customer acquisition, secure recurring revenue, and expand market presence through consultative sales and strategic account development.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and target potential new customers within the maritime segment
  • Develop and execute structured sales strategies to capture new accounts
  • Engage internal global teams to support new business acquisition efforts
  • Conduct customer-facing meetings and travel within the assigned area
  • Deliver sales proposals and negotiate commercial contracts to secure recurring revenue
  • Provide market, customer, and competitive insights to support product and service development

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in engineering
  • Proven experience capturing new market share in a competitive MSP or ICT environment
  • Experience in consultative selling and engaging C-level decision makers
  • Ability and willingness to travel
  • Possess a valid passport and authorisation to work in Japan; and a driver’s licence
  • Proficient in written and verbal Japanese and English

Preferred requirements:

  • Possess a valid MBA qualification
  • Knowledge of the maritime industry
