A global consulting services organisation is seeking a Client Relationship Manager. The selected candidate will drive business development, manage key client relationships, and deliver consulting and account management solutions to support long-term client success.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the business development process across new and existing accounts
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships and strategic partnerships
  • Introduce services and solutions through meetings, RFP responses, conferences, and presentations
  • Apply account management principles to support client business performance improvement
  • Develop relationships across multiple levels within client organisations
  • Develop new clients within target markets
  • Deliver client training, facilitation, and coaching as required
  • Maintain and update sales systems for forecasting and performance reporting
  • Leverage social media to create positioning and sales opportunities
  • Role model structured thinking processes and approaches

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or above
  • More than 7 years of working experience in business development, account management, or sales-oriented roles
  • Experience in stakeholder-rich environments such as B2B sales, consulting, or external negotiations
  • Experience in professional services or related industries is preferred but not mandatory
  • Strong interest in sales and business development activities
  • Native level Japanese; fluent level English

Preferred requirements:

  • Industry experience in automotive, pharmaceutical, manufacturing, or technology sectors
  • Possess a valid MBA or other relevant higher qualification or progression towards such qualification
