サイトデリバリーチームリーダー/ Site Delivery Team Leader

A multinational industrial engineering company is looking for a Site Delivery Team Leader. The selected candidate will lead a multi-national technical team, oversee project staffing and departmental operations, support workforce development, and ensure the successful delivery of site projects while promoting a high-performance and inclusive culture. This is a hybrid setup role.

Responsibilities:

• Lead, coach, and develop a multi-national team of engineers, technicians, and specialists
• Conduct regular check-ins and one-to-one meetings with direct reports
• Develop career growth and professional development plans for team members
• Support recruitment and onboarding of new employees
• Promote a culture of high-performance teamwork and mindful leadership
• Collaborate with department leadership to forecast and fulfil project staffing requirements
• Coordinate shift assignments, time-off requests, and scheduling changes
• Manage scheduling systems and processes to track team commitments
• Act as the primary contact for scheduling-related enquiries within the region
• Maintain training and certification databases
• Identify and arrange training courses to ensure compliance with industry and legislative requirements
• Maintain tooling and uniform inventories and coordinate purchasing activities
• Monitor and approve working time and variable hours in compliance with regional regulations
• Maintain an understanding of project structures to support effective collaboration
• Support workforce planning, staffing decisions, and resource forecasting
• Promote psychological safety, inclusion, accountability, and high-performance teamwork
• Reinforce leadership expectations and model mindful leadership practices

Requirements:

• Experience coaching and developing technical professionals, including performance management and skills planning
• Ability to interpret schedules and staffing requirements
• Familiarity with Japan-specific labour practices, safety expectations, and cultural communication norms
• Ability and willingness to travel internationally
• Fluent level Japanese; proficient English (TOEIC 700+)
