プロダクトマネージャー/ Product Manager

A renowned automation machinery manufacturer is looking for a Product Manager. The selected candidate will oversee product development, lifecycle planning, supplier management, compliance coordination, and operational risk mitigation.

Responsibilities:

• Identify and evaluate ODM and OEM partners based on product, cost, and compliance requirements
• Translate stakeholder needs into clear product specifications and development plans
• Manage component lifecycle risks, including obsolescence, EOL notices, and product change notifications
• Coordinate project deliverables, long lead-time components, testing schedules, and certification activities
• Assess supplier performance and review corrective actions for quality and compliance issues
• Resolve non-conforming product issues with internal teams, suppliers, and external partners

Requirements:

• 3-6 years in Hardware Product Management, Product Engineering, or Strategic Sourcing
• Experience in component lifecycle management and BOM analysis
• Background in OEM/ODM suppliers and cross-functional engineering teams
• Knowledge of hardware manufacturing processes and quality control
• Understanding of international hardware compliance and certification frameworks
• Proficient in English (Japanese is preferred)

Preferred requirements:

• Experience in the robotics, industrial automation, or high-tech hardware sectors
• Prior experience with cost-modeling and supplier contract negotiation
• Understanding of regulatory compliance (CE, FCC)
